Naming Stage Definition

Naming stage is the fourth sub-stage of the Scribble Stage in Victor Lowenfeld's Stages of Artistic Development. Scribble stage is the first stage and normally starts at 2-4 years old. Naming stage is a great time in human life and in this stage the child shifts from kinesthetic thinking to imaginative thinking. The child develops the ability to visualize pictures and start to tell stories on the scribble.
