Holly Amber Definition

Holly Amber refers to an art glass pattern produced by the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Works of Greentown, Indiana.  Holly Amber is a pressed glass pattern. The name is derived from the holly leaves in amber-shade features in the glass.  The color used in Holly Amber glass was known as “Golden Agate.” Therefore, Holly Amber is referred to as Golden Agate. The amber shades ranged from creamy opalescent to brown-amber.
