Amber Definition

Amber is fossilized resin that is produced by particular species of trees. It is basically golden yellow in color, but the resin color can range from milky white to dark brown and rarely to violet. Amber has therapeutic properties. It has been used for centuries in Europe as a pain killer for dental pain.  It is also used in ornaments and in perfumes.  Amber is also known 'Baltic gold,' or 'happy stone.'
