Night Blindness Definition

Night Blindness refers to an ophthalmological disease where a person is able to see with his naked eyes during the daytime or where there is a presence of strong light and is unable to see during the night or where there is presence of relatively low light. Normally, a person may suffer from night blindness due to various reasons such as, as a preexisting disease, due to the occurrence of an injury, or due to malnutrition such as deficiency of Vitamin A. Night Blindness is also known as nyctalopia.
