Satin Glass is an art glass of the late 19th century. Majority of satin glasses are two layered. It is  a decorative glass that has a soft matte finish caused by acid vapor treatment. This treatment gives a ‘satiny’ feel to the glass. It is generally found in shaded pastel colors. However, rainbow satin glasses are also available.
