Portland Cement Definition

Portland cement is cement that is used as an ingredient ion mortar and concrete and is the most commonly used cement. Cement is the powdered form of calcined limestone and clay. Cement is commonly used for concreting a space or for affirming something to the walls or floors. It is stuffed to the floor by mixing the powdered substance in water and putting a lump of it on the floor to create a solid mass. This is a major ingredient in concrete and mortar. Portland cement is corrosive and tends to cause chemical burns and skin allergy. It also contains hazardous substance like crystalline silica and its exposure can cause lung cancer.
