Pop Art Definition

Port art developed during mid 1950s in England. Pop art emerged as an art movement that focussed on creating fine artworks by adding images from advertisements and news. In pop art news articles and other cuttings and images are collected from various sources and is combined and put together to form a collage work. These images which are put together may vary in size shape or background and may be unrelated. Later on this art became a tradition and made its way to United States during 1960s.
