Porcelain Definition

Porcelain is a material made of ceramic and has white, hard and resonant body. These porcelain dishes were produced in China initially during 600 and 900 CE and are also known as china or fine china. It is made by heating kaolin to high temperatures in order to increase the toughness and strength of such porcelain dishes.  A porcelain pottery has less elasticity and permeability and is highly resistant to thermal shock and chemical reactions.
