Pomona Definition

Pomona is a clear glass with a yellowish border ornamented with flowers and leaves. The colour of these glasses is pale and has a frosty surface. The glass has a network of fine lines as its background. It was New England Glass Company that made these Pomona glasses during 1885 to 1888. This is made by cutting the surface of wax on the glass and plunging it in acid.
