Photo Realism Definition

Photo realism was a movement that started in United States in 1960s that promotes the kind of art that depicts real life pictures or pictures from ordinary life through photographs or paintings. They are categorized as realistic paintings and sculptures and are usually reproduced with minute detailing. This art is created in the form of photographs, paintings or drawings and it depicts ordinary life with detailed description and produce pictures with as much reality as possible.
