Nonobjective Art Definition

‘Non-Objective Art’ refers to a style of art which does not portray a person, place or thing in the natural world. Thus, in this style of art natural objects will not be represented realistically. The content of a non-objective artwork is the color, shapes, brushstrokes, size, scale and sometimes, the method adopted for the work. The term non-objective art is also used as an alternative term to refer to ‘Abstract art’ or ‘Non-representational art’.
