Eskimo Definition

Eskimos, in the context of antiques, is used to refer to different types of artifacts that were made by Eskimos of the ancient times. Baskets, dolls, masks, purse, figurines, containers, carvings made using whale/walrus teeth are examples of some art work of the primitive Eskimos. Collectors search for these pieces of art. In some places such as Canada, the term Inuit is used to refer to an Eskimo.
