Entablature is horizontal moldings in the upper portion of a building below the roof. Entablature appears above the columns. The three parts of entablature are architrave, the lowest band, frieze, the central band and cornice, the top band. The entablature structure varies with the three different classical orders – Doric, Ionic and Corinthian.
