The term enlargement in the context of art refers to increasing or expanding an image. Grid is a method employed by artists to enlarge an image. In grid, the artists draw grid or squares over the reference image and then draw equal ratio grid on work surface. The image is then drawn keeping attention to one grid at a time until the image is completed. The terms bump up or blow up are also used to refer to enlargement.
