Wheels of Fire- Hot Wheels Club of Arizona

Overview

Our membership growth is just short of phenomenal. From a small group of only a dozen people (or seven families), Wheels Of Fire now numbers over 200 members (about 140 families) and we have a couple of people join every month.

Description

On November 10, 1998, Wheels Of Fire went online with its webpage and in less than a year, its popularity went from a couple hundred hits to almost seven hundred. Almost a year to the day, on November 12, 1999, we set-up this on a temporary status, and on January 6, 2000, this site was officially launched. On February 6, 1999, we put on our first toy show (42 tables) and it was so successful that the next one was held on September 30, 2000 (142 tables) in a much larger place with a lot more dealers. Of the three known clubs in Arizona -- Wheels Of Fire (ours), The Arizona Outlaws, and Tucson Miniature Auto Club (TMAC) -- only ours and the Outlaws are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and are strictly Hot Wheels oriented. TMAC is located in Tucson, Arizona, and is a generic diecast club. Not surprisingly, many people belong to all three! Our membership growth is just short of phenomenal. From a small group of only a dozen people (or seven families), Wheels Of Fire now numbers over 200 members (about 140 families) and we have a couple of people join every month.
