The home is furnished with wonderful examples of Victorian furniture, including many pieces that belonged to the Edwards family.

The house is furnished with period furniture, dating from 1790-1810. Other period artifacts include place settings, cooking utensils, books, and other smaller artifacts, as well as finds from archaeological digs on the site.

The mission of the Suwannee County Museum is the locating, collecting, preserving, recording and exhibiting of objects and artifacts illustrative of the history of Suwannee County and the northern part of Florida.

Collections: a complete collection of class portraits of graduating classes of both Syracuse and Wawasee High Schools, trophies from the schools, an extensive collection of Native American artifacts found in surrounding fields, a mastodon tooth, etc.

Collections include: Archives, documents, photos, research library, Mayan pottery, Native American Indian artifacts, minerals and fossils, military collections, Boy Scouts of America, medical, art, artifacts, ranch equipment, town historical items, etc.
