The term slipware in the context of antiques refers to ceramics made by dipping in pale slip. The intricate patterns are then trailed over the object. Thomas Toft and Ralph Toft were well known slipware potters. Slipware antiques include chargers, chamber pots, cups, dishes and jugs.
