Performance Art Definition

Performance art is a presentation shown in the context of fine arts. Performance arts differs from normal arts in the way it is presented and performed. These arts require time space, body of the performer, objects, and a medium. These arts also help in establishing a relationship between the surroundings it is performed and also the objects used. These are visual arts and is incorporated with music, costumes, stage lighting and projected images. These performance may be scripted or non-scripted and the whole art takes a longer period to get completed.
