Mont Joye Definition

Mont Joye, in the context of antiques refers to the cameo glass made by Saint-Hilaire Touvier de Varraux and Co. of Pantin, France. The cameo glasses were made in late 19th and 20th centuries. The enameled glasses were highly decorated. Mont Joye pieces include vases, bowls, basket, biscuit jars, decanters and compotes.
