Lowercase Definition

Lowercase letters comprises of most of the typographic communications in present times. Examples of lowercase letters are “a s d f.” The lowercase letters are also known as “minuscule” or “miniscule” script. The term originated from the practice of placing the types in the lower of a pair of type cases by the compositors.
