Lady Head Vase Definition

Lady Head Vase refers to the popular ceramic vases of 1950s. As the name suggests the vases depicted the head of ladies. Initially the vases were used by the florists to hold the bouquets. Later the design was used for umbrella holders and lamps. Betty Lou Nichols is one of the pioneers in manufacturing Lady Head Vases. Her signature piece had three-dimensional black eye lashes.
