In the context of science, Hydrogen is a non-metallic element which is colourless, flammable and has no aroma. It is the most simplest of all gases. Hydrogen is the most abundant gas in the universe. Hydrogen is primarily used for producing synthetic ammonia and methanol. It is also used for refining petroleum. Hydrogen is essential in hydrogenation of fats and oils.
