Hummel Definition

Hummel figurines were inspired by the drawings of the German nun Sister Berta Hummel. First appeared in 1935, the figurines were made by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Oeslau, Germany. The figurines had crown mark from 1935 to 1949. Bee marks appeared in 1950s. The other marks include three line and Missing Bee mark.
