Horizon line, in the context of art, refers to an imaginary line drawn across the picture. The horizon line is considered as eye-level line. It aids in determining from where a picture is to be viewed-whether from a higher place or somewhere close to the ground.  Horizon line is used to determine reference points and focal points. Thus, horizon line makes the picture conform to the right perspective.
