Goldscheider Definition

Goldscheider refers to porcelain made by Goldscheider family and marks its products with the same name. Earlier, apart from the name they depicted eagle wings, though it was changed to an anchor mark. Goldscheider made porcelains from Vienna, New Jersey and England. Originally the family was in Vienna. In 1938, they set up factory in England. Later in 1940, they started a factory in Trenton, New Jersey as Goldscheider U.S.A, which in 1941 became Goldscheider Everlast Corporation. Subsequently, from 1947 to 1953, it produced ceramic under the name Goldcrest Ceramics Corporation.
