Expanded Polystyrene Plastic Definition

Expanded Polystyrene Plastic is a light weight plastic which has a granular mass. It is made of polystyrene beads. Expanded Polystyrene Plastic was invented in 1839 by Eduard Simon. It is often associated with and known by the name Styrofoam (the trademarked name of Dow Chemical Company). Expanded Polystyrene Plastic is also used to make different types of artwork.
