Dick Tracy Definition

The term Dick Tracy, in the context of antiques, refers to memorabilia connected with the comic strip created by Chester Gould in 1931. This comic strip appeared for the first time in Daily Mirror. Tracy, the main character was the hero of the movies made from 1937 to 1947 and in 1990. A radio series in 1940s and television series in 1950s also featured Dick Tracy. Dick Tracy memorabilia include dolls, toys, banks, figures, paint books, badges, belt inserts, bonnie braids and bobble heads.
