Daniel Boone was a pre-Revolutionary War folk hero born on November 2, 1734 near Reading in Pennsylvania. Besides being a pre-Revolutionary War folk hero, he was also a surveyor, trapper, and frontiersman. During the period 1964 to 1970, a tele-film was telecasted which was based on his life.
