Cluthra Definition

Cluthra refers to a glass ware which was designed by the Steuben Glass Works of Corning in New York in 1920. The piece is a two layered glass with tiny bubbles. Powdered glasses are trapped between the layers. Cluthra pieces come in different colors. Cluthra patterns include vases, bowls, goblets, finger bowls, lamp bases, shades, urns and mugs.
