Bybee Pottery Definition

Bybee Pottery, claiming to be in business from 1809, was founded in Kentucky by Webster Cornelison. The stoneware pottery made by the company are handmade. Both utilitarian and decorative wares were made by the pottery. The marks on pottery include name Bybee, the name Cornelison, or the initials BB.  The wares include batter bowls, banks, bowls, candle holders, cookie jars and vases.
