Belleek Definition
Belleek is a thin, shiny, uniquely designed brand of pottery. Also known as “Belleek wares,” the ceramic pieces are made in the Northern Irish town of the same name. Nearly every Belleek includes a distinctive mark that aids in determining authenticity and approximate date of production. The mark is of an Irish Wolfhound in front of a round tower above the word “BELLEEK.”
