Limited edition lotograph entitled "Fonteyn and Nureyev" 68/90 signed Tina Mackler.; 24 1/2" w., 28" h. Fonteyn & Nureyev was a famous dynamic ballet partnership. Dame Margo Fonteyn – British from the “Royal Ballet”. She had a 45 year long career performing until she was 60. Rudolf Nureyev – Russian, the first dancer to defect (1961). He escaped in London when 23 years old. The Fonteyn & Nureyev partnership lasted 15 years, (1964-1979), at the outset he was 26 and she was 45.
