Robert Joffrey was the Chairman of the Jury for the USA IBC (1979, 1982, 1986). Throughout her career Tina focused mainly on the idea of capturing performers in movement, circus performers, race horses, mime artist Marcel Marceau and dancers. Dancers all over the world knew Tina and loved her drawings as she captured them in “flight” while viewing them from the wings or during rehearsals. The SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM, Washington DC has 2 works by Tina Mackler in their collection. She also collaborated with THALIA MARA on several of her books, “STEPS IN BALLET” books and “TO DANCE TO LIVE”.
