0563 Artist Proof Print "Cry" and Additional Print of Mikhail Baryshnikov by Tina Mackler
Unframed artist proof entitled "Cry" and 8/20 limited edition of Mikhail Baryshnikov both signed by Tina Mackler; 16" w., 21 1/2" h. “Mikhail Baryshnikov” is Russian dancer from the Kirov Ballet (Leningrad). In 1964 he defected in Canada while the Kirov was on tour. Later he moved to New York, joined NYC Ballet (Balanchine). Also danced with American Ballet Theatre & later became their Artistic Director. He became a US citizen in 1986, was nominated for an Academy Award (Best Supporting Actor) in the film “The Turning Point”. TV had significant role in “Sex and the City”.
