0264A Rare Silver and Crystal German Chandelier with Swan Globes
A rare silver and crystal Empire style chandelier with full figure swan globes of satinized glass in the manner of Lalique. A larger example of a German Swan chandelier is featured in the Queen's living room of Prince Maximillian's fantasy castle, Hohenschwangau, near Munich. One beak is broken and there is a hairline cracks in one globe. One clobe has been broken and repaired. All globes are marked Gesetzlich Geschutzt. 4'1" h. x 2'8" w.
