Trustees Definition

Trustees mean a specific group of people who have the decision making power to operate the functions of an organization. In relation to art, the term is commonly seen used to refer to trustees of museums or art galleries. We can see Board of Trustees or individual Trustees associated with museums. They often control and formulate policies for the operation of the museums, make decisions concerning the intake of collectibles, develop budgets, and collect funds for the museum.
