Rockingham Definition

Rockingham is a kind of pottery that were produced in United States which had a decorative coating that looks like the shell of a tortoise. This American potteries were produced during 1840s till 1900. The speciality of these potteries were their glazing colour. They were usually with brown glazing. The pieces of Rockingham potteries had scenes of animal hunting and historical depictions. The company also produced mages of historical figures and sculptures of animals.
