Primary Colors Definition

Primary colours are those basic colours with which other colours can be made or formed by mixing these colours. Primary colours may be combined to form different range of colours and colours so formed are called secondary colours. The three primary colours are red blue and yellow. These three colours exhibit the properties of absorbing other wavelengths to produce new colours. Red, green and blue are used as additive primaries and red, yellow and blue are used as subtractive primaries.
