Polyester Resins Definition

Synthetic resins which are unsaturated are called polyester resins. It is a product obtained as a result of the reaction that occurs between dibasic organic acids and polyhydric alcohols. These resins are widely used in laser printers and are also used as moulding compound in sheets and similar substance. Polyester resins may also be used to fabricate wall panels to construct low maintenance washable walls in restaurant and kitchens.
