Pipes Definition

Pipes that are used for smoking herbs or tobacco are called chalk pipes. They may be made of wood, porcelain, tusk of animals or glass. Pipes became famous when tobacco was introduced to Europe. Such pipes are tubular with a curve base at one end with an extension of a long tubular pipe. The tobacco will be put to the curve based part of the pipe where it is burnt to produce smoke that is inhaled through the tubular end.
