Piebald Definition

Piebald refers to asymmetrical spots of two different colours that can be found on a body of art. These are uneven patches and are usually found on the body of animals. Typically such patches are black and white. Piebalds can be spotted at hair, scales or feathers of animals. The word piebald originated from the words magpie and bald which means spot of patches which are white in colour.
