Outsider Art Definition

The term outsider art was made up by Roger Cardinal which meant an art brut. Outsider art refers to an art done on the basis of a culture of a society by those people who are basically strangers to that society. People outside a society if exhibits an art work on folks, ethnicity, children and habitat of a society may be generally called an outsider art. In Europe such arts are regarded as arts done by mentally disturbed people.
