Organza Definition

Organza is a transparent cloth made of silk and is extremely pure and brittle. They are generally thin fabric which has a plain weave.  Organza is knitted with synthetic thread fibres such as polyester or nylon. Clothes made of organza material may be used for bridal wears, night wears and organza silk skirts. Interior furnishings especially double-width organza curtains are also nowadays designed using organza material.
