An ogee is the term used to describe a pair of S shaped curves in opposite senses mirrored left to right like a sigmoid curve that meets at an apex. It is also known as a Roman Ogee if the higher curve is concave and lower curve is convex.  During the later thirteenth century, these arches were the main features of English Gothic architecture.
