The word Maize when used in the context of antiques refers to the glass ware made by W.L.Libbey & Son Company, Ohio. The glass resembling ear of corn were designed by Joseph Locke. The kernels of corn were light yellow or white and the leaves were usually green. The Maize glass ware also feature corn kernels with light green color and leaves with blue or red colors.
