Linear Perspective Definition

Linear Perspective in drawings is created by drawing parallel lines in a manner which represents them as converging. This gives an illusion of depth and distance to the art work. When the actual or suggested lines converge to horizon, the perspective on the size and shape of an object and their position in background and foreground is established.
