Karma Definition

Karma in Sanskrit means action or deed. Karma refers to the concept of causality where the good or bad deeds of an individual influence his future, bringing him future happiness or suffering.  I.e. Good deeds bring happiness and bad deeds bring him suffering. The concept originated in India. It is a key concept in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Taoism.
