Impression Definition

In general, the term Impression refers to an effect, or feeling, or image held in mind as a consequence result of an experience. But in the context of antiques, the term printing, lithography and bookbinding, impression refers to the act, process, and result of printing from same type, plates, etc. It also refers to the number of copies of a publication made at a single time.
