Illusion Definition

A misleading idea or an image is called an illusion. It happens as a result of distorted senses. Among illusions optical illusions are the most common. The brain while organizing and interpreting the sensory stimulation reveals a distorted or unreal visuals which eventually creates illusion. Illusion is a process that occurs during perception of brain. It is certain assumptions that leads to distorted conclusions and visuals. Optical illusions are created with geometrical shapes and figures. There are also other types of illusions like auditory illusions tactile illusions and temporal illusions.
