High Art Definition

High Art refers to art works depicting lofty and dignified subjects, the details of which are not revealed in a single exposure. High Art is also termed as beaux-arts, an art which has withstood the test of time and which is an example of artistic achievement. High art have abstract expressions and its appreciation depends on tastes and intelligence of the individual. The term high art is used to describe the work of elite artists.
